Pollock-Krasner FoundationThe Pollock-Krasner Foundation was established in 1985 for the sole purpose of providing financial assistance to individual artists of established ability through the generosity of the late Lee Krasner. She was one of the leading abstract expressionist painters and the widow of Jackson Pollock. The Foundation’s mission is to aid individuals who have worked as artists over a significant period of time. The Foundation’s dual criteria for grants are recognizable artistic merit and financial need, whether professional, personal, or both. You can get more information regarding the Foundation and its grants at The Pollock-Krasner Foundation, INC. You can also visit the house where Pollock and Krasner lived in on Long Island. It is considered a National Historic Landmark and tours take place throughout the year with a $5.00 admission fee. You can visit Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center for more information and directions.
